Indexation
Indexation

Inflation increases the principal of index linked loans, and the increase is paid on the due dates that remain to be paid on the loan. In theory, the borrower „borrows“ the inflation. It should be borne in mind that the interest is calculated on top of the index value-adjusted principal. The calculation of indexation is based on the Consumer Price Index.
